Jake Moskowitz 6 Elements of Fitness
You did it! You got up this morning and made the decision to work out! Or maybe you decided to stop at the gym after work. Good for you! But what did you during your workout? Each day brings a new workout challenge to face and a new motivational obstacle to conquer. I’m here to arm you with the tools that’ll keep you in control when facing the challenge for the day: now that I got to the gym, what do I do?
I hope that as we move along toward our goals, we stop and check that we are fulfilling all 6 of the elements of fitness (listed below). You’ll never be able to focus on all 6 during the same workout, but that’s ok. Focus on 1, or 2, or even 3 or 4. But ensure that as time goes by, your focus moves from one to another and hits all six, never staying on one for too long. A good mix of the six elements of fitness will keep your mind and body balanced and healthy.
Fitness can be broken down into six elements. Each week I will focus on one of the six elements of fitness in my blog, on my Facebook page, and in my sessions. For quick reference, find the boxes down on the home page of my website. Clicking on a box will link you to a detailed description of that element.
